Dizzy, with her pedigree name after the Beatles' song, was born on 1st May 2010 and has been a sweetheart from the start. She adores Deccy, whether it's because he is another liver or not who knows, but they snuggle up together and are inseparable most of the time. Well, her idea of snuggling anyway - I think she wanted the cushion here and Deccy wouldn't budge! (Jan 2011)

She plays with daddy Taz in the paddock, he has decided she is okay after all - he's not too keen on silly puppies swinging off his ears - and she is the only dog or human who can take things off him! Here they are playing in the snow in December 2010...

Here she is as a baby practising her trot back in the summer of 2010...

At six and a half months and her second show, she won Reserve Best Utility Puppy of the Year in Northern Ireland, but didn't take it too seriously... (thanks to Joyce Crawford-Manton for the pic)... more pics on the show results page.

Details of her key show results have been added to the show results page.

Dizzy won her first Green Star on 17th March 2011 - she was the only bitch on the day to be graded "excellent". This gives her the Celtic Winner AND Celtic Junior Winner titles.
Even better news - Banbridge Championship show 9th April she not only won her second Green Star but was Best of Breed, beating her daddy Taz, and fourth in the group! At Munster on 4th June she won her fifth Junior class with "excellent" so her Junior Champion title has now been applied for. At Swords Championship show 18th June she won her third Green Star, her fourth came at Déise on 27th June and her fifth at Bray on 2nd July. Her title is in sight! She qualified for Crufts 2012 by winning the Junior Bitch class at the Hound Show on 13th August 2011.

Dizzy is not just a promising show puppy though, on 16th April we went to the Irish Carriage Dog Trials where I ran her in the Instinct test which involves an assessment of whether she has the natural instinct to follow a carriage, and some basic obedience such as sit-stay. She passed with flying colours! Another certificate for the wall, and one proud mammy!
